ℹ️ Note: After sending the Home Access invitation, you'll see one of the following statuses for each student:
- Send reminder – The email invitation has been sent, but the parent hasn't completed the setup.
- Enabled – Home Access is active, and the student can continue learning outside school hours.
How do I disable home access?
Home access enables students to continue practicing after school hours. If you do not want the child to use SplashLearn at home, you do not need to send invites to parents, and students would automatically not be able to access SplashLearn at home.
However, if a parent is connected to their child's classroom-linked account and requests to unlink their child from the teacher account, you can simply delete that student profile.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
[accordion-start: Can I change the parent's email address after home access has been enabled?]
No, the email can only be updated if the status is Not enabled yet or Send reminder.
[accordion-start: Can I continue using SplashLearn during the summer?]
Absolutely! Your classroom doesn't pause for the summer, and neither does SplashLearn. You can continue assigning activities, tracking student progress, and managing your classroom as usual.
If Home Access is enabled, your students can continue learning from home, while parents can support their child's learning through their classroom-linked account.
[accordion-start: Why is the "Play in School" tab greyed out?]
If the Play in School tab is greyed out, check that your teacher account is set to the correct local time zone. Once it's updated, refresh the page and try again.
