This article is for teachers who want to add a new class in SplashLearn or import a class from Clever or Google Classroom.
ℹ️ Imported your class via Clever or Google Classroom?
Students added directly in SplashLearn won't sync back to Clever or Google Classroom.
⚠️ Before you begin:
Student names must be at least 2 characters, begin with a letter, and can only include letters, numbers, apostrophes (’), dots (.), hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
- Go to Manage all classes.
- Click Student Roster on the class you want to add students to.
- Click Add Students.
- Enter the student names and click Save.
Select Import from Spreadsheet to add students in bulk. - Click Continue.
You may enter the parent's email to enable home access. - Answer a few questions on the following page to set up the right resources for your student.
- Review the recommended plan for each subject and assign it to the student.
If not needed, choose I’ll assign later to skip this step.
✅ Done:
Your students have been added to the class and are ready to start learning.

There is no limit to the number of classrooms or students you can add to a SplashLearn account.
