If you're seeing errors while creating a classroom-linked SplashLearn account, the issue may be related to duplicate accounts, invalid teacher codes, profile limits, or connectivity problems. This article explains the most common signup errors and how to resolve them.
Error 1: Already added 3 students
Classroom-linked accounts support up to 3 students. If you've hit that limit, you won't be able to add another student until you free up a spot or create a separate account.
Here's what you can do:
- Remove an existing student to make room for a new one.
- Create a new account if you need to manage more than 3 students.
Error 2: Unable to link your account
This usually happens because of where your account was originally created. Accounts don’t automatically work across all platforms.
- If you signed up on the website, you can log in with the same credentials on either the iOS or Android application. However, once you log in to one app, your account will be linked to that platform.
- Currently, on iOS devices, your classroom-linked account only works with the SplashLearn: Kids Learning App. Other iOS Grade apps won't work with the same login and will give you the "We're not ready for you" error.
