Teachers can manage classroom settings to control student login methods, class codes, Home Access permissions, passwords, and classroom preferences. This article explains how to update classroom settings and manage student access effectively.
Log in to your teacher account using your registered email address and password.
-
Go to Manage All Classes, select your class, and click Class Settings.
Here, you will find three main sections: General, Curriculum, and Student Activity.
General Settings:
These settings help you manage basic classroom details.
Class Name:
You can update the class name by editing the text field.
If the class was imported from Google Classroom or Clever, the class name must be updated in the respective platform and then synced with SplashLearn.
Grade Level:
Select the appropriate grade level from the dropdown.
Each class supports both Math and Reading. Separate Math-only or Reading-only classrooms are not available.
If the class is imported via Clever, update the grade level in Clever and sync the changes.
Game Language:
-
You can set the language for the entire class. Available options include:
English (US)
English (UK)
English (AU)
Spanish
Keep in mind:
Changing the language setting does not apply to the English (ELA/Reading) curriculum on the student dashboard.
The setting applies only to the learning content and not the entire application.
The language change feature is available only for students and does not apply for teacher or parent dashboard.
The parent invite letters are unaffected by the class setting.
Teachers can also update the language for individual students from the Student Roster if needed. Learn more: How can teachers update the language settings in a classroom?
Login Mode: Choose how students log in during school hours:

Password Type: Select the type of password students will use:

Keep in mind:
It is recommended to keep passwords secure to prevent students from logging into other students’ accounts.

Unlock all games in school hours
Lock all games in school hours
Note: Game Zone settings apply only during school hours (7 AM to 3 PM).
SplashLeague Enrollment:
You can choose to un-enroll the classroom from the SplashLeague contest.
Allow Multiple Attempts:
Enable or disable multiple attempts for incorrect answers in assignments.
Teacher-Assigned Activities First:
Prioritizes teacher assignments before other activities.
Email notifications for teacher-assigned activities:
- The teacher can specify whether parents should receive notifications about assigned activities.
Weekly Report to Parents:
- The teacher can control whether weekly progress reports are sent to parents.
Remember:
Once a classroom is created, the subject cannot be changed.
Deleting a classroom will remove all student progress associated with that class.
Currently, parents do not have a feature to change the language from their dashboard.
