Teachers can reset a student's learning progress when they need the student to restart content from the beginning. Before resetting progress, review how the action may affect completed activities, reports, and learning history.
Reassign the assignment:
Teachers can reset progress by reassigning an assignment to the student. When an assignment is reassigned, the student’s previous progress on that specific assignment is removed, allowing them to start again from the beginning.
This option is helpful when a student needs more practice or a second attempt at the same skills.
Tip: Before reassigning an assignment, you can choose to print or download reports of the student’s previous progress. This makes it easy to compare performance and track improvement over time.
Delete the student account:
Teachers can also delete a student's account and then add the student back to the classroom for a complete reset. Before deleting a student account, we recommend confirming that a full reset is truly needed.
Note: Once a student account is deleted, all progress and data created so far are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
