This article explains how teachers can assign Math and English assignments to students.
⚠️ Before you begin:
The assignment is automatically marked complete on the due date.

- Select Math under Curriculum.
- Select the skills to assign and click Assign.
You can also preview the assignment before selecting. - Select the due date & student(s), and click Assign.
A 7-day due date is set by default and can be extended or reduced per your preference.

FAQ / Troubleshooting

Students can access assigned work under the From Your Teacher tab after signing in.
[accordion-start: Can I assign activities from a different grade level?]
Yes. You can assign activities from any grade level without changing your class grade. Simply select the grade level of your choice from the drop-down while creating the assignment.
[accordion-start: Can I switch between SplashLearn Milestones and Common Core Standards?]
Yes. While creating an assignment, you can switch between the SplashLearn Milestones and Common Core Standards curricula before selecting the content you'd like to assign.
[accordion-start: Why can't students view the assigned work?]
Students may not see assignments if:
- The assignment has reached its due date and was automatically marked complete.
- The student is signed in to the wrong classroom.
- Home Access is disabled, and the student is trying to access assignments after school hours.
- The student was added to the class after the assignment was assigned.
[accordion-start: Can I assign games to students?]
No, teachers cannot assign any games to the students.
[accordion-start: Can I share an assignment with my students?]
Yes. After assigning an activity, use Download Invite or Copy Link to share a home access invitation with parents, or share via Google Classroom or Remind to send the assignment directly to your students.
