How do I edit my child’s name or grade level?

- Click Parent at the top-right corner.
- Click Settings.
Click Edit Player's Details to update your child's name and grade.

- Click Parent at the top-right corner.
- Click Settings.
- Choose the child profile you wish to update.

On the next page, you'll be able to update the name and set grade for both Math and English.
How do I update my child’s avatar?
- Tap on your child’s avatar.
It’s available at the top-left of the dashboard. - Click on the icon.
- You can customize your avatar’s hair, face, eyes, facial features, and background.
✅ All set — just click on any feature you like, and save to publish changes.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
[accordion-start: I can't edit my child's profile — why?]
The profile may be linked to a classroom account, which limits certain changes. Classroom-linked parents cannot update student settings until the student is unlinked from the teacher.
Contact your child's teacher or SplashLearn support to unlink the profile.
[accordion-start: Can I disable avatar settings?]
Avatar settings cannot be disabled.
[accordion-start: What happens when I update my child’s grade level?]
Updating the grade level changes the recommended learning content. Existing progress remains unchanged.
