Stars: Measuring Performance & Accuracy
⚠️ Before you begin:
High accuracy on a single playable doesn't mean a child has mastered the whole topic just yet. Overall topic mastery looks at performance across all required playables within that Content Group.
Stars are a quick way to see how accurately your child answered questions in a playable. Your child can earn up to 3 Stars after completing a playable. The number of Stars is based on their accuracy.
Accuracy = (Total Correct Answers ÷ Total Questions) × 100

ℹ️ Understand performance at the content group or topic level:When you look at a child's performance for a Content Group, SplashLearn considers their performance across the required playables, not just the Stars from one activity. The performance indicators are:

Super Coins: Fun Rewards for Performance
⚠️ Before you begin:
Super Coins are rewards, not a measure of academic performance. A child earning more Super Coins doesn't necessarily mean they have mastered more skills. For learning performance, look at Stars and topic-level performance.
While Stars show how accurately your child performs, Super Coins make learning more rewarding and fun. Each time your child earns Stars in a playable, they also earn Super Coins that are added to their balance.
Students can use their Super Coins to personalize their SplashLearn experience, such as customizing their avatar, choosing new items from the Closet, or unlocking digital rewards.

Leveling Up: Celebrating Overall Practice
A student's Level reflects their total time, effort, and overall activity across SplashLearn, including Math, English, Learning Paths, Math Facts, and the Game Zone.
As your child participates in learning activities, earns Stars, and collects Super Coins, they make progress toward higher Levels. Higher Levels can also unlock additional avatar customization tiers.
ℹ️ Note: Downloaded worksheets, Jungle and Aquarium games are excluded from academic progress and level calculations.
FAQ / Troubleshooting

Not necessarily. A higher Level reflects your child's overall activity and engagement on SplashLearn. It doesn't directly measure accuracy. For academic performance, look at Stars and topic-level performance.

Stars are based on your child's overall accuracy in the playable, so getting some questions right doesn't always result in a higher Star count.
