A class code is a unique classroom access code that helps students join and sign in to a SplashLearn classroom. Teachers can view or update their class code through classroom settings and share the updated code with students when needed.
How to share login instructions with students?
Follow these steps to share login details:
Log in to your teacher account using your registered email address and password.
-
Click Student login instructions, then share the class code and password with your students. You can also generate and print login cards to distribute in the classroom for easy access.
For detailed guidance, refer to: How can teachers help students sign in and sign out?
How can a teacher change the class code?
-
Go to the Student roster tab.
-
Click the refresh icon next to the class code to generate a new one. The updated class code will apply to your entire classroom.
Remember:
Classrooms imported through Clever have SSO (Single Sign On) enabled. Students and teachers can log in with their Clever credentials and access SplashLearn directly through Clever, without needing a class code.
Currently, SSO is supported only on the website and is not available on the iPad application.
Classrooms imported from Google Classroom and manually created SplashLearn classrooms require students to sign in only with the class code and password.
To learn more about password customization, refer to: How can teachers view or change a student's password?
