How do I add a co-teacher or transfer a classroom in SplashLearn?

⚠️ Before you begin:

• You can add up to 3 co-teachers per classroom. The receiving teacher must have a SplashLearn account.
• Only the primary teacher (class owner) can add or remove co-teachers, transfer the class, or delete the class. 
• If your class is imported from Clever or Google Classroom, the co-teacher added via SplashLearn will not sync back to the source platform.

How do I add a co-teacher to my class?

1. Go to Manage all classes.
2. Click Add a Co-teacher on the class of your choice.
3. Enter the teacher's email address and click Send invite. 
   Add up to 3 co-teachers’ emails at once by separating them with commas.

✅  All set! The co-teacher(s) will receive an email with instructions to accept the invitation and join your class.

How do I remove a co-teacher from my class?

1. Click the three dots (⋮) next to the co-teacher's name.
2. Click Remove Co-teacher.

✅ Done: 

The co-teacher has been removed from your class and will no longer have access to it.

How do I transfer my class to another teacher?

⚠️ Before you begin:

A class imported via Clever or Google Classroom cannot be transferred.

1. Go to Manage all classes.
2. Click the three dots (⋮) on the class you want to transfer.
3. Select Transfer Class.
4. Enter the teacher's email address and click Send transfer request.

✅ That's it! The new teacher will receive an email to accept the transfer. Once they do, they'll take over the class, and it will no longer appear in your account.

FAQ / Troubleshooting

No, teachers cannot transfer an individual student from their dashboard.

Once you've been added as a co-teacher, you can access shared classes from the class dropdown menu in your teacher dashboard.
