This article is for teachers looking to add or import a class from Clever or Google Classroom.
- Go to the Class dropdown.
- Click Add new class.

Create a new class or import a class from Clever or Google Classroom.

ℹ️ Note: You can set up a manual classroom directly with SplashLearn. Students can log in using a SplashLearn-generated class code, password, or QR code.
- Enter the class name, select the grade level, and click Create new class.
- Type the students' names in the box or import them directly from a spreadsheet and click Add students.

Enable home access and click Continue.
- Answer a few questions on the following page to set up the right resources for your class.
- Review the recommended plan for each subject and assign it to the class.
If not needed, choose I’ll assign later to skip this step.

ℹ️ Note:
- Ensure you're signed into the Clever portal.
- You can import a Clever classroom directly from your Clever library and enable Single Sign-On (SSO) for you and your students.
- Clever SSO is supported only on the web browser.
- Click Import from Clever.
- Ensure you're logged in to your Clever Portal.
Once you’re logged in, return to SplashLearn and continue with the steps below. - On SplashLearn, select the class you wish to import.
If you’ve already imported the class, you can select it again and change the grade if necessary. - Choose Import as a new class or Sync class data from Clever, depending on how you want to add the class.

Import as a new class: If it is a new class, you can import it directly. If you are re-importing the same class, please enter the class name and click Continue.
Next step: enable home access and set up your classroom successfully. -
Sync class data from Clever: Select the classroom you wish to sync and click Continue.

ℹ️ Note: Import your Google Classroom into SplashLearn. Students continue signing in using their SplashLearn-generated class code, password, or QR code, as Single Sign-On (SSO) is not supported.
Only PreK–5 classes with at least one student can be imported.
- Click on Import from Google Classroom.
- Sign in with your registered Google Classroom account.
- Select the classroom you want to import, choose the grade level from the drop-down menu, and click Import.

FAQ / Troubleshooting
[accordion-start: Can I import the same classroom more than once from Clever or Google Classroom?]
For Clever and Google Classroom, you can import the same classroom multiple times and select the same or a different grade level each time.
[accordion-start: Does SplashLearn support district-wide Clever login (shared District URL)?]
No, SplashLearn does not support district-wide shared Clever (District) login URLs. Each teacher and student must access SplashLearn through their individual Clever accounts.
District administrators can share the SplashLearn Clever Library link with teachers and students for quick and easy access.
[accordion-start: Will students added or deleted in SplashLearn sync back to Clever or Google Classroom?]
No, changes made directly in SplashLearn (such as adding or removing students) will not sync back to Clever or Google Classroom.
However, updates made in Clever or Google Classroom can be synced to SplashLearn using the Sync option.

If students are missing or updates are not reflected, go to Student Roster, then Sync with Clever or Google Classroom to update your classroom roster.

No, there is no limit to the number of classrooms you can create or the number of students you can add to a classroom.
[accordion-start: Can I merge two classrooms in SplashLearn?]
No, classrooms cannot be merged.

Go to Manage All Classes and click Continue using this class for the classroom you want to access this year.
