Teachers can invite co-teachers to help manage a SplashLearn classroom or transfer classroom ownership to another teacher when classroom responsibility changes. This article explains how access permissions and classroom ownership are managed.
Please note that only the primary teacher can perform these actions, and the receiving teacher must have a SplashLearn account to access or take over the class.
-
Click Manage All Classes on your dashboard.
Add a co-teacher/secondary teacher to a classroom:
Select the class where you want to add a co-teacher.
-
Click Add a Co-teacher.
-
Enter the teacher’s email address and click Send invite.
Keep in mind:
If your class is imported from Clever or Google Classroom, you can add a co-teacher via SplashLearn but the change will not reflect back to the source and the co-teacher will have access only within SplashLearn.
You can add up to 3 co-teachers in one classroom. Add them in bulk with separate commas.
To remove a co-teacher:
Find the co-teacher’s name.
Click the three dots (⋮) next to their name.
Click Remove Co-teacher.
Transfer a classroom to another teacher:
Click the three dots (⋮) next to the class
-
Select Transfer Class.
-
Enter the teacher’s email address and click Send transfer request.
-
You can cancel the transfer request by clicking the Cancel request message.
Remember:
You can also transfer class ownership to another teacher directly within your SplashLearn teacher account when using Clever or Google Classroom.
-
Only the class owner (primary teacher) can:
Add or remove co-teachers
Transfer the class
Delete the class
-
Co-teachers can view classes from their class dropdown menu.
For roster-related changes, update them in Clever or Google Classroom, then sync in SplashLearn.
