As a teacher using SplashLearn, you can generate personalized learning plans for your students based on their assessment scores. SplashLearn's assessment recommends skills for students to work on based on their assessment/placement test performance. Once a student completes an assessment, a personalized learning plan is automatically generated to provide targeted practice and support for their learning needs.
Here's how you can ensure that the recommended learning plan shows up on the student dashboard:
- Click on the 'Manage Class' drop-down menu in your SplashLearn account.
- Select 'Class settings' to access the class settings page.
- Under the 'Make Learning Plan Mandatory' option, select 'Yes' to make the learning plan mandatory for your students.
It's important to note that the learning plan cannot be personalized for the Reading/ELA curriculum. Also, It is generated only for students who have yet to perform well in the diagnostic assessment.
By making the learning plan mandatory for your students, you can encourage them to complete their personalized practice before moving on to other skills or games in the SplashLearn platform. However, students can still attempt assessments and assignments assigned by the teacher even if the learning plan is mandatory.
SplashLearn's personalized learning plans are a powerful tool for individualized instruction, allowing students to focus on areas where they may need additional practice and support. By using the assessment data to generate personalized learning plans, you can help your students progress at their own pace and achieve their academic goals.
Please encourage your students to actively engage with their learning plans and provide support and guidance as needed. With the personalized practice and targeted instruction provided by the learning plans, your students can build a strong foundation in the skills they need to succeed, leading to improved academic performance and increased confidence in their learning abilities.
