If your Clever classroom is not importing correctly or student roster information is not syncing as expected, the issue is usually related to classroom roster updates, account permissions, sync timing, or district-managed Clever data. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Student missing in the SplashLearn roster:
There are two ways to add students to your class. Choosing the right method ensures your data stays accurate and synced:
-
Add students in Clever directly:
Any new students should be added directly to your Clever classroom.
-
Once added, return to SplashLearn and click Sync Class to update your roster. This ensures the changes are reflected across both platforms, i.e., Clever and SplashLearn.
-
Add students in Clever via SplashLearn:
You can also add students directly in SplashLearn within an imported Clever class.
However, these students will only appear in SplashLearn and will not sync back to Clever.
Why can a student see other classrooms?
SplashLearn pulls classroom data based on the student’s Clever profile.
- If a student can see multiple classrooms, it means their Clever ID is linked to more than one class.
-
SplashLearn reflects all classrooms connected to that Clever account.
Remember:
Clever SSO is currently available only on our website and isn’t supported on the SplashLearn app.
- SplashLearn does not support district-wide shared Clever logins. District administrators can share the SplashLearn Clever Library Link to make access easier.
- Teachers must sign up using the Clever option on the SplashLearn website.
